I like that there’s an editing history and it has tremendously helped our workflow because we can backtrack every edit and know who made certain edits, and return and save a previous version of a file if we want to start from that one or if we didn’t like something that was made. I feel like Dropbox Paper has been a great place for all of us to work on our files because it is cloud-based and this prevents the loss of our documents, and personally, I feel more secure in working on my files knowing that there won’t be a risk of losing everything because it is automatically saved after every word written. It has been a life-saver as it has contributed to our capacity to work in collaboration with other people in a reliable and smart system, and it has improved our productivity as individuals working on different projects with the right tools to do so. Overall: I use Dropbox Paper to work on files with my team members. They could improve the to-do lists tool to have a more arranged and general view of all the things that we have to do instead of only having it assigned to one member, right now this feature feels limited and I would like to have more control and customization around it. Dropbox Paper does not have a spell check tool, and it is a huge dislike for me as it means that we have to do the spelling check in a third-party application after we’re finished with a document, which honestly seems like an unnecessary step because most collaborative tools have this feature already, but Dropbox Paper is still lacking on this. This often causes huge disadvantages when we are working on more extensive and not simple documents because we don’t have much control about the text colors or the text sizes because Dropbox Paper doesn’t offer much tools and we have to make do with the basic ones. Because of the simplicity, Dropbox Paper feels quite limited and falls short in the variability of fonts and more editing tools that are not available in this solution.
